the story of a 20-something who survived life as an adult with braces and jaw surgery and everything else
Thanks for posting the video, I think that actress is HILARIOUS! It's fun to have some light-hearted fun made of teeth straightening. That's probably not the response you're going for, but I just had to say thanks, I really enjoyed 'clear rite is... Wrong'. It makes me so glad I went with the FULL METAL look. ~Elaine
I completely agree. I watched this and cringed the whole time - not sure what it was either but...wait, maybe because I have the "clear" braces and she kept repeating "everyone can totally tell". I guess this skit will be funny if/when the braces ever come off.
okay, maybe I need to amend my comment... I'm only glad I went with the FULL METAL look because that's what's in my mouth! And, talk about "EVERYONE CAN TOTALLY TELL!!!" I was jealous of my friend who has the clear braces because they are harder to see. Real clear braces are nothing like the 'clear rite', after all it doesn't really take 10 minutes to swallow! But, I still think it's a funny video!!!
hahahah. I have clear metal braces now, but had to wear an adjusting retainer type thing for a few months before getting the braces, and could barely talk/swallow with that thing. nobody could see it, but they could totally tell! i'm actually more comfortable with the clear metal braces now, even though I still have a hunk of plastic cemented to the roof of my mouth...~Rachel (longtime reader, 25 year old accountant with braces - does it get any worse???? luckily I'm already married...)
I thought this was a little strange, but I also think this blog is a little strange. Whats the big deal it's comedy it's humor and I would much rather laugh than complain any day. I have lingual braces now and I'm going to have full veneers put on when I'm finished, I've already had so many compliments on my new smile I can't wait for the final result. The final price about 30K. My hubby really loves me, it feels soooooo good to be loved.
