Um...my sister was diagnosed with shingles today. Um....what the hell? Is it like the 1800s here or what? How freakin' random is THAT? Not an email you expect to get from your mother with the subject line "Your Sister Has Shingles."
At least braces don't burn, itch and/or is associated with a herpes disease. Uhhh, gross!

you know what, my brother totally had them a month or so ago. must be a resurgence!
Shingles is associated with CHICKEN POX, not Herpes. Anyone who has had Chicken Pox has been exposed to the virus that could surface at ANY TIME later in life as Shingles.
Just thought you'd want to know.
Yeah. I googled shingles. Because I just got them. 31 years old, not over 60 as is described online. Your blog came up. Here I am. You are funny. Shingles are not. At least no one can see my oozing pustules, unlike your braces. That's for saying Shingles are worse. Although, truth be told, they might be. AND if you ever had chicken pox, the shingles are just hanging out, sleeping, waiting for just the right moment to wake up. How do you feel about braces AND shingles?
